Though I am unable to reveal my age, I can tell you that life in 2011 for someone my age can be both incredibly easy, and very difficult. Due to the increase in technology people of my age are actually being toldto use it. For example, certain people are being told they have to do things with said technology such as blogging *ahem*. This, combined with the everyday troubles that could occur to someone my age, can make life very, very annoying. Despite all this, people of my age can also have a fantastic time. For example, one without any social, financial or emotional problems, will have a much funner life. One without worry, can have the time of their life at this age. Within the next 20 years, with the further increase in technology, I see many more people being forced to use it. I assume that in the future, people this age will have to use said technology. Also, with the sad and bizarre issue that fianancial, social and emotional problems are occuring more in the lifes of this generation, I fear that in the future people will have worse and less enjoyable lifes. I weep the the future of humanity. However, there is always said light in the dark. There is always the chance that people will have actually better lifes than those of us today. But who knows?
Life These Days
The Final Stretch
Dear readers, before I continue on to write the idea I was given recently, I must write the unfortunate note that my epic writing is coming to an end. I still have a bit of time to entertain you, and I’ll do the best I can, but we have entered the sprint to the finish. Only a year at most left, but I’ll do what I can. With operation I.D.E.A.S, you will read just what you want to. I will improve my blog to the best of my abilities and you people will love it! Hopefully. Either way, I’ll keep blogging for as long as I can, for we are approaching the end of the operation… the end, of Operation B.L.O.G.
Speak! I Know You Can!
Recently I realize that, despite the amount of people visiting my blog, few people decide to comment. It is for this reason that I have decided to remove the Operation E.N.E.M.Y page from my blog and instead replace it with a new page. I call this page Operation I.D.E.A.S. I decided that the reason no one was commenting, was because I was not talking about anything you people found interesting. Operation I.D.E.A.S will give you the opportunity to control certain aspects of my blog. You will have the chance to post an idea on what my next post will be about. I will write a post about nearly any topic… if it’s appropriate. Congratulations readers! You have been granted control! Well, mostly… I still have to follow orders from the chief…
I have continued to read the actual diary of the young jewish girl. So far, I have made quite a few decisions about the book. Before I get into those however, let me first catch you up on what is happening in the story. After Anne Frank and her family, her fater, her mother and her sister, were forced into hiding in a secret ‘house’ in an office building, their lives became much more complicated. The family was forced to join many others in hiding, including Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan and their son Peter. So far, the diary has mostly highlighted on the parts of the story that make life out to be difficult in hiding, which I’m sure is not far off.
The diary of Anne Frank is being told from the point of view of (surprise, surprise) Anne Frank. This has become very clear while reading the many thoughts and feelings of the fourteen year old girl (which can only lead to disaster). Throughout the book we hear many bad things about other characters, though there are certain obvious factors that make not everything negative. If this story was told from a different person’s point of view, there would likely be less opinions about certain people, and more negative comments about Anne (*gasp*… shocker). If one of the flat characters were telling the story, it would probably be a lot like if another round character were telling the story.
Over the course of my reading, I have decided that I have absolutely nothing in common with this Anne Frank. Personally, based on what I have read about Anne Frank, I would say that she is a very… detailed writer. Also, seeing as this is her diary, I see how she wouldn’t have expected anyone to read it. Of course, based on her thoughts and emotions expressed in the novel, there are certain aspects I could deduce from her.
So, I am arriving at the end of the novel shortly, I expect that this may be the most interesting part of the story… though I’ve been wrong sometimes. Rarely, but sometimes.
The chief has asked me to write about what I have read in this book so far, so here it is:
After three days of reading this book, I have reached page 78. So far in the book, Anne Frank has been forced into hiding due to the Nazi invasion. She is stuck hiding in the “Secret Annex” as to avoid detection. There are forced into this small living with a seris of other characters, causing mayhem within the already present turmoil. The characters currently presented vary greatly. The most important of characters (as though I had to tell you,) is Anne. This is obviously becuase it is her diary, meaning the whole story is from her point of view. I myself have decided that other “round” characters could be Mrs. Van Daan, because of the amount of detail Anne gives her. For example, as you read, you hear many times how “calm and quiet” she is. I suppose you could also include Anne’s father (Pim) or her mother. During my reading, I noticed that Anne introduced all of her other characters during her writing by explaining what she thought of them. This is obviously because of the fact that the “story” is told through Anne Frank’s actual diary. Some other characters that aren’t as important could include Margot, Peter, Mr. Van Daan, Mr. Dussel, Mr. Koophuis or Mr. Vossen. Due to the fact that this is a thirteen year old girl’s diary, it is very difficult to narrow out an important event. Since I have to pick one however, I think an important event could be when she was forced into hiding. She, along with Margot, Peter, Mr and Mrs. Van Daan, her mother and her father were forced into hiding due to the Nazis in Holland. This is an important event because, if it had not occured, there would not have been any major importance to the diary entries and therefore the diary would not have been published. Had this event happened to me, I likely would have been scared completely, due to the fact that I’d been forced into hiding for my life. I predict that the next events that will occur in the novel will be explaining how life was in hiding. The rest of the diary will likely tell of the hardships they face in hiding and how this will turnout. Based on the introduction of the book however I do not assume that the tale will end well. This is so far a fairly interesting story and also a fairly.. odd story. This is likely because of the fact that it is a diary however.
Liar, Liar
Readers, I am now going to try to educate you on something I myself have used many, many times. How to tell if a person is lying. There are many ways to tell this, but because everyone is different, some people are harder to read. These are the most common ways to tell if a person is lying:
1. A twitch or scratch. Although these may seem like a random act, if the person your talking to does this often as they speak (and does not appear to have a rash or any other form of ailment that may cause itchiness), chances are that they are lying.
2. A cough or clearing of the throat. This is a very common indication of lying. If a person coughs or clears their throat as they are talking, it could indicate that they are lying. However, this could also indicate that they are sick and you should end the conversation as soon as possible.
3. Constant or lack of eye contact. This is a well known way to tell if a person is lying. Lack of eye contact shows that the person is uncomfortable with their response, meaning they either aren’t telling the truth, or are generally embarrassed. However, if a person is constantly looking you in the eye as they’re talking, this could reveal that they are trying to convince you that they are confident in their response. So really, a person who looks at you when they talk is likely telling the truth, so long as they don’t stare.
4. Sudden elevation or drop in the voice. If the persons voice raises or drops drastically, it could show that they are not completely confident in their response. They may be attempting to make their voice sound more believable or confident. Be reasonable with this technique however, it could just be that the persons voice cracked.
Now, while these are the main four ways to tell if a person is lying, they are not 100% reliable. In some cases, a person may not show any of these signs that their lying. Some people have different signs that they are lying, in which case, you’d have to find some way to figure out what those are. Knowing how to tell if people are lying can be a very helpful tool in life, however it could also be your greatest enemy. People who use the signs to tell if a person’s lying soon learn, sometimes it’s better not to know the truth.
Canada: The Comedy
Dear readers, as you may have noticed, I have not used my classic name for this country (Triple A CND). This is merely practice for my next operation. I can’t tell you what it is, or how this will help, but I figured, you people can be the guinea pigs. Are you ready!? I didn’t think so..
So, I’ll start with a broad subject about Canada: Snow! In case you readers didn’t know, Canada’s the only country people can go to and see exactly what they didn’t want to! Snow! As I once pointed out to a friend, it’s a four letter ‘S’ word. Of course that’s not the worst part about Canada. One of the other bad things about Canada? Everyone knows about the snow! I live in southern Ontario, as I have said before. I could travel into the united states, go farther north than I live and still get asked if I live in an igloo. Yeah, that’s just a little pathetic.I kid of course. No, Canada does not have that much snow, but we do actually say ‘eh?’ a lot. Most Canadians don’t catch it though because we’re so used to it. It’s not the worst thing to tune out though. I know certain Americans that have managed to tone out their knack of stopping in the middle of a sentence to say ‘um’ or ‘er’. I think it’s… um.. annoying, don’t you… er… think? Nah, I’m still kidding.. mostly. No, I do prefer some things about Canada over other countries. For example, the names of the provinces and territories. Let’s see, we’ve got creative names like, Ontario, Alberta, Yukon, Nunavut, etc. Personally though, I prefer our very unimaginative names. We have our new found land. Oh! I’m sorry that’s Newfoundland. Then we have our northwest territory, Northwest territories. I suppose these names are better than names that are more offensive than unimaginative. Not that I’m mentioning any names.. Uranus. Let’s see, what’s left? I don’t know. You know what, since I’m here, I might as well leave with my new Canadian national anthem. Are you ready for the song that will change history!? Again.. no was expected.
(O Canada, as preformed by Agent Ryan)
O Canada, Somethin’, somethin’, yeah!
I don’t know if you know, but I hate you stupid snow!
I keep telling you, every one of you, stop saying that dumb eh!
And Qubec, just doesn’t belong with us, we should disinherit them today!
There’s some good things though, that keep, me quite happy!
Our health care is absolutely free!
O Canada, you may applaud for me! (that’s it.)
Hope you liked my anthem. Now, I wasn’t kidding.. applaud. Applaud you worthless Canadians. Whether I’m kidding now or not is up to you.
Have any of you ever noticed the bizarre names of gameshows? No? Well I have. In fact, an accomplice of mine even asked me to come up with a story a few weeks back. The challenge, use the names of at least seven game shows in it. Here’s what I came up with:
There once was a man who liked to live his life on the edge. He invited his family over one day, but they got in a huge family feud. So he took a walk through town, until he ran into a mugger. The mugger looked at him and asked for his wallet, or his life. He said “Deal, or no deal?” The man knew he was in jeopardy there, but he had a lot of his cash on him, to the mugger, the price was right. In hopes of changing the muggers mind, he asked him “Who wants to be a millionaire?” It didn’t work. There were suddenly tons of people on the muggers side. It was one vs one hundred. What was he going to do? He ran for his life, but tripped and fell flat on the floor. It was a serious wipeout! He turned to face the muggers, but they were gone. It was just like magic. The man gladly ran home, knowing he had spun the right fortune on his wheel of fortune..
Did you catch them all? No? Why don’t you try reading it like this?

There, wasn’t it easier to see them that way? In case you weren’t counting, that was nine game shows. Weird, eh? Of course, it’s easier when you are actually trying to name them right?
The cheif told me to do a few more poems. These ones I had to do in the form of a podcast so.. here:
I hope you enjoyed them.. I know I didn’t.
Cheif asked me to post five poems on my blog, hopefully they’re the last. Here they are:
Her Smile
Her smile warms the depths of my heart.
Her smile tears my sorrow apart.
Her smile makes shooting stars park.
Her smile creates a light in the dark.
I love her smile with every inch of my soul.
I only wish that I could let her know.
I would give her my whole world for free,
Just to see her smiling at me.
To see her happy, that’s all that I need,
Because when she’s happy, it’s all that I see.
Don’t Cry
I know you’re sad about what happened,
But it could still be worse.
You see your life looks so much better,
When you don’t see it as a curse.
I mean my life is full of sorrow,
And I think that every day,
But I swore I would not show it,
And from that I will not sway.
I know your life has had it’s troubles,
I’ve had more than that in mine,
So imagine life from my eyes,
And yours will look just fine.
Brave Bills
-
There once was a brave lad named Bills,
Who faced giants with his buddy Phils,
And Bills stood his ground,
As he took a great pound,
And Phils just ran for the hills.
In My Dreams
-
She blesses my dreams every night,
With her eyes as blue as the sea,
And her lips that are my goal in sight,
Showing she’s all that matters to me.
Alone
I spend my days alone,
My true feelings never shown.
I dream alone each night,
About things out of my sight.
How I wish I’d stop above,
That little thing called love.
